SINGAPORE - A car crashed into a guardrail along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) on the evening of April 30 before flipping over the divider and ending up on the Seletar Expressway (SLE).

The driver escaped the dramatic accident with only minor injuries.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), in response to The Straits Times’ queries, said that its officers assessed a person for minor injuries, but the person declined to be taken to hospital.

SCDF said it was alerted to the accident, which occurred along the TPE towards the SLE near the Yio Chu Kang exit at around 7.05pm.

The police said a 28-year-old male driver is assisting with investigations, which are ongoing.

In dashcam footage of the incident posted on Facebook group SG Road Vigilante, a black car can be seen hitting a road divider, tumbling and rolling over it before landing on the expressway as dust and debris from the impact of the crash settles.
