A cyclist waiting at a traffic junction was injured after a car mounted a pavement in Tiong Bahru Road following a collision with another vehicle.
Photos of the wrecked bicycle were posted on Facebook. The cyclist, a 30-year-old man, was taken conscious to Singapore General Hospital, police said.
He is believed to have suffered abrasions.
A pedestrian waiting at the same junction was struck by debris from the bicycle and suffered cuts to his feet, reported Lianhe Wanbao.
Police said the accident occurred at the junction of Alexandra and Tiong Bahru roads at around 7.50pm on Tuesday.
The Straits Times understands that the incident happened after a black BMW hit the white car in front of it while turning at the junction.
The white car then mounted the pavement and hit the bicycle. It is unclear if the cyclist was on his bicycle at that point.
Police investigations are ongoing.
