SINGAPORE – A 58-year-old bus driver was arrested after an accident in Lim Chu Kang Road in the early hours of June 5 left a motorcyclist injured.
The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to an incident involving a bus and a motorcycle at about 2am.
The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, was unconscious when taken to the National University Hospital, they added.
The bus driver was arrested for careless driving causing grievous hurt.
Footage posted on social media shows multiple motorcyclists travelling down the road.
In a separate clip, a white bus is seen making a turn before the collision. The bus narrowly misses the first two motorcyclists before a third motorcyclist is seen crashing into the rear of the vehicle.
Another clip shows a heavily damaged motorcycle on the road with metal shards around it.
Police investigations are ongoing.
