Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore's north-west region can look forward to free help at monthly breakfast networking sessions. On Tuesday morning, 100 SMEs attended the first Mayor's Network @ North West session at Orchid Country Club.

"The Mayor's Network @ North West aims to provide a platform where SMEs can gather to better understand various government schemes for SMEs," said Mayor of North West District, Dr Teo Ho Pin, who hosts the sessions.

SMEs are also exposed to networking opportunities, free business advisory services, employment and training support, and corporate social responsibility partnership opportunities. Future sessions will focus on specific industries and sectors, including food manufacturing, precision engineering and construction.

The programme is organised by the North West Community Development Council and SME Centre@NorthWest, supported by SPRING Singapore, Singapore Workforce Development Agency and Singapore Manufacturing Federation.
