SINGAPORE – The body of a 62-year-old man who is suspected to have drowned was found in the waters off East Coast Park in the afternoon on July 12.

In response to queries from The Straits Times, the police said they received a call for assistance at 3pm. The man’s body was retrieved from the sea, and a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force declared him dead.

Early investigations do not suggest foul play, the police said, and investigations are ongoing.
