The week-long bidding session for car registration series SKM starts at 8am on Sept 28. Numbers from 1 to 9,999 will be available for bidding and the session will conclude at noon on Oct 5.

The minimum bid amount is $1,000, and any offer higher than that must be in multiples rounded to the dollar amount. The numbers can only be used for registration of new cars or replacements of existing car registration numbers in an individual's or company's name.

All bids during this session must be made on prescribed forms and envelopes that can be obtained from and submitted to the Land Transport Authority at 10 Sin Ming Drive. Bidders may check the results of the bidding exercise via the one.motoring website from 4pm on Oct 11 onwards.

The registration numbers will be available for viewing from 4pm on Friday at http://www.onemotoring.com.sg. Successful bidders may start using their new numbers from Oct 12.
