SINGAPORE - Air quality improved on Monday morning, although hazy conditions are still expected "from time to time", said the National Environment Agency.

At 7am, the three-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) stands at 64, while the 24-hour PSI is in the range of 70 - 85.

Hazy conditions are expected to persist as the smoke haze from the region is still around. Prevailing winds are forecast to be light and variable in direction.

Thundery showers are also expected on Monday afternoon. The overall 24-hr PSI for Singapore is expected to be in the high-end of the moderate range and the low-end of the unhealthy range, said NEA.
