Solution provider AXS officially launched two new payment channels on Tuesday that allows users to pay bills and fines in the comfort of their homes or while on the go.

The two new channels are the AXS m-Station, a mobile app, and the AXS e-Station, which is available online. The app can be used on both Apple and Android smartphones and tablets, and can be downloaded for free at the iTunes Store or Google Play. Besides the payment of bills and fines, it allows users to store and access past payment history on their devices.

The first phase of the launch will offer bill and fine payment services, with more than 80 billing organisations available on both new platforms. Payment can be made through eNETS debit. Users with DBS bank, POSB, OCBC bank, UOB or Citibank bank accounts can also use internet banking to transact on the new channels. All services provided are free, except for condominium/building payments which include an administrative fee of $1.

AXS aims to progressively include more e-services at a later stage, such as top-up services for telco pre-paid cards, it said in a statement.
