Study of Singapore's hotel sector aims to improve pay, attract more locals

SINGAPORE - A six-month manpower study of the hotel sector here will begin in the first quarter of this year to help the sector transform business models, create new job roles and redesign hotels for the future.

Commissioned by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Ministry of Manpower and Workforce Singapore, the proposed study will identify and assess key trends in the industry until 2025.
