The Landing Helicopter Dock warship is the Australian navy's new amphibious vessel and was open to the media on its second day in Singapore yesterday.

The HMAS Adelaide and the HMAS Darwin are here to strengthen humanitarian assistance and disaster relief inter-operability with the Singapore Armed Forces as part of a joint task group deployment to the region.

During its visit, the HMAS Adelaide will conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training, and medical and aviation inter-operability exercises.
