It is an artwork that would not be out of place in the iconic science fiction tome Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Indeed, the Guide is the favourite book of the artists behind the installation HYBYCOZO - Serge Beaulieu (above) of Canada and Yelena Filipchuk of the US - and was one of the inspirations behind the design of the piece, a combination of science, technology and geometry, in place at the Esplanade Waterfront yesterday. The installation is one of 20 artworks by local and international artists that will light up the Marina Bay area at the fifth edition of the light art festival, i Light Marina Bay, from tomorrow to March 26.
