Nara Chandrababu Naidu, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, India, and president of the Telugu Desam Party, will be visiting Singapore from Nov 12 to 14. He was invited by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam. Mr Naidu is accompanied by senior officials from the Andhra Pradesh government and a business delegation.

He will call on Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong on Wednesday. Minister Shanmugam will host him to an official lunch and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Tharman Shanmugaratnam will host a dinner on the same day.

On Thursday, Mr Naidu will call on Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry S Iswaran. He will also deliver the keynote address at the Institute of South Asian Studies' Ninth International Conference on The States Of South Asia, where he is the special guest.

Also on his itinerary are visits to the Centre for Liveable Cities, Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board and Port Authority of Singapore. He will also participate in a CEO Breakfast Roundtable organised by International Enterprise Singapore.
