Alternative ownership models for T5?

Changi Airport's Terminal 5 could be paid for and operated differently from current facilities, as the authorities call for consultants to study if alternative models of ownership would better support Singa- pore's competitiveness as an air hub in the future.

The Transport Ministry said there are no near-term plans to change the current model, with the existing three terminals now run by the Changi Airport Group. But options include future terminals being owned and operated jointly by the public and private sectors.
