SINGAPORE - Extremists in South-east Asia are anticipating the return of Afghanistan as a "safe haven" following the withdrawal of US military forces from the country later this year, a new report on South-east Asia's terror landscape has said.
Experts told The Straits Times on Friday (June 4) that this could have dangerous repercussions for Singapore and the region.
