A female baby was found abandoned at the lift landing of Block 203 Serangoon Central, and police are appealing for information on her next-of-kin.

The infant, said to be slightly tanned and believed to be about a week old, was found by a passer-by on Thursday around 2pm, police said.

She was wearing a white jumper and diapers, and wrapped in a light blue cloth and black scarf.

Police said the infant is in good health; she has been sent to hospital.
