A round of golf - and $500k for needy kids

This $500,000 cheque will be used to help disadvantaged children after Citi Singapore raised the money at a charity golf event.

It is the third year in a row that the company has chipped in to help underprivileged youngsters.

A total of $547,138 will go to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.
