As a 19-year-old student in the St John Ambulance Brigade, Madam Lim Chor Eng braved a thunderstorm to march in the 1968 National Day Parade (NDP).

The 66-year-old remisier hopes to relive memories of that rain-soaked parade at this year's NDP, which will pay tribute to the National Day parades of yore with a vintage segment during the celebration at the Padang.
