$90,000 and a long, painful journey before becoming parents

Ms Angelina Ong went through a miscarriage and two cycles of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment, and forked out about $90,000 on fertility treatments, before she and her husband finally became parents.

After countless tears, two cycles of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment, one miscarriage and about $90,000 spent on fertility procedures, Ms Angelina Ong and her husband Ross Gan were finally parents in 2017.

The former marketing consultant gave birth to their first child, a boy named Asher, when she was 41.
