A worker leaving plastic containers out to dry after washing them outside Chilli Api Catering's kitchen in Bedok North Street 5 yesterday. The caterer was ordered to suspend operations from Sunday following a food poisoning outbreak. The affected TJC staff are believed to be part of the 82 people who fell ill with gastroenteritis symptoms after eating food it prepared between March 10 and 12.

Eight Temasek Junior College (TJC) staff have been hospitalised with gastroenteritis symptoms after eating food prepared by Chilli Api Catering last Friday.
They are now in stable condition, said principal Low Ay Nar.
