SINGAPORE - Eight people were taken to hospital after a bus collided with a taxi in Hougang.
The accident along the junction of Hougang Avenue 2 and Yio Chu Kang Road happened at about 11.30am on Sunday (May 28), police said.
Eight casualties were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said.
The Straits Times understands that the taxi driver and seven bus passengers were hurt in the accident.
SCDF sent two fire engines, two fire bikes, three ambulances and one support vehicle to the scene.
