SINGAPORE - Seventy people were arrested on suspicion of various drug offences after a five-day islandwide operation by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) which ended Friday. The operation was supported by officers from the Singapore Police Force.
CNB seized more than $56,000 worth of drugs, including 735g of heroin, 110 g of cannabis and 6g of Ice. During the operation, five suspected drug offenders were arrested in Marsiling with one of the suspects, a 43-year-old male Singaporean, found to have about 689g of heroin in his possession.
Investigations are ongoing.
