A 31-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 9-year-old boy at West Coast Road on Saturday.

Police said in a statement earlier that they received a call for assistance at 6.08pm.

Upon arrival, police found the 9-year-old boy unconscious at the foot of said block. He was conveyed to National University Hospital where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead 7.03pm.
