SINGAPORE - Three new members have been appointed to the board of the Singapore Land Authority, the Ministry of Law announced on Monday (July 4).
They are Mr Yeoh Oon Jin, the executive chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore; Ms Lock Yin Mei, a partner at Allen & Overy LLP, and Mr Ho Chee Pong, the director-general of Singapore Customs.
They will each be appointed for a term of two years, which starts on Aug 1.
Meanwhile, board chairman Lim Sim Seng, the group executive and Singapore country head of DBS Bank, has been reappointed. Mr Lim will be joined by reappointed board member Ang Cheng Hock, the senior counsel and a partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP.
Both Mr Lim's and Mr Ang's new two-year terms will also commence on Aug 1.
Director of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau Wong Hong Kuan is the only outgoing board member. He will complete his current term of office on July 31.
Eight other members will continue to serve on the board: Mr Han Kok Juan, deputy secretary at the Ministry of Law; Mr Tan Boon Khai, chief executive of SLA; Mr Tham Kui Seng, non-executive director of Straits Trading Company Ltd; Mr Walter Fernandez, editor-in-chief at MediaCorp; Mr Lai Huen Poh, managing director of RSP Architects Planners & Engineers Pte Ltd; Mr Philip Yuen, chief executive officer of Deloitte Southeast Asia and Singapore; Mr Mok Wei Wei, managing director of W Architects, and Dr Chong Yoke Sin, chief executive officer of Integrated Health Information Systems.
