$220K for pocket money fund

Real estate group Huttons donated $220,000 to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF) at the firm's 10th-anniversary gala at Marina Bay Sands last night.

Huttons projects director Peggy Ngiam (second from left) presented the cheque to SPMF chairman Han Fook Kwang (far left).

Huttons had rallied its sales agents and employees in December to raise money for the fund, which helps needy students.

Said Huttons operations director Michael Peh (centre): "Part of our success is from society at large. We want to help those less fortunate."
