The South East Community Development Council (CDC) has set up a $200,000 grant to encourage more ground-up community projects.

South East District Mayor Maliki Osman (in purple) announced the new grant at the CDC's annual conference held at the NTUC Centre yesterday.

The CDC will start a series of dialogues to complement the new grant, said Dr Maliki, who is also Senior Minister of State for Defence and Foreign Affairs.
