SINGAPORE - Two people were injured after a car knocked over a road divider in a three-vehicle accident along Balestier Road on Friday (May 26) afternoon.

Pictures of the scene show a blue car on the road divider, outside the Singapore Indian Association, with sections of the divider strewn on the road.

The police told The Straits Times that they were alerted at 1.51pm to an accident involving two cars and a van along Balestier Road towards Thomson Road.

A 58-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were injured, and the man was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

ST understands the woman drove herself to hospital.
