2 cars and 1 motorcycle involved in accident along Upper Serangoon Road

SINGAPORE - A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars and a motorcycle along Upper Serangoon Road on Tuesday (June 27) evening.

The police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Upper Serangoon Road and Sunshine Terrace at 5.20pm.

At least one man in his 40s was taken to hospital.

The Straits Times understands that he was driving one of the cars.

ST saw two cars on the road at awkward angles, with their fronts smashed in. Debris was strewn on the road and vehicles manoeuvred carefully around them.

An ambulance was at the scene.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call for help at 5.10pm and dispatched an ambulance.

"One casualty was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, while the second casualty refused conveyance," said the SCDF spokesman.

Police investigations are ongoing.
