A total of 19 men aged between 19 and 60 were arrested in Geylang in an overnight multi-agency operation which ended early on Friday morning.
The operation covered the streets at Geylang lorongs as well as hotels in the area and suspects were nabbed for drug, contraband cigarettes, illegal health products and Warrant of Arrest offences, said the police.
The operation was led by Bedok Police Division and involved officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, Central Narcotics Bureau, Singapore Customs and the Health Sciences Authority.
Commander of Bedok Police Division, Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Police Alvin Moh said: "The police will continue to work closely with other enforcement agencies to clamp down on criminal activities."
Investigations against the suspects are ongoing.
