The Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (Minds) has launched the first in a series of six illustrated children's books. The books are to promote greater integration between mainstream schoolchildren and children with special needs. Therapy dogs were brought to Fernvale Gardens School as part of the launch.

Singapore attracted $10.9 billion in investment commitments last year, exceeding its forecast. The Economic Development Board wants to sustain similar investment levels this year despite a slowing global economy and US-China trade tensions. Singapore expects to draw between $8 billion and $10 billion in fixed-asset investments this year.
