PM Lee Hsien Loong in Thailand to pay respects to late King Bhumibol Adulyadej

SINGAPORE - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will visit Bangkok on Thursday (Oct 20) and Friday to pay his respects to Thailand's late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Grand Palace.

King Bhumibol died on Oct 13 at the age of 88.

PM Lee will also meet Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to express his condolences on the passing of King Bhumibol, said the Prime Minister's Office in a statement issued on Thursday.

PM Lee will be accompanied by Mrs Lee and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during his visit.
