SINGAPORE - Employers who want to train their staff in digital skills or upgrade their human resource functions with digital technology can more get help from the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF).

SNEF said in a statement on Wednesday (Feb 7) that the new initiative, SNEFDigital, will hold a series of masterclasses and workplace transformation programmes, including consultancy.

These will be rolled out progressively through SNEF's Workplace Transformation Programme (WTP).

SNEFDigital will focus on three areas.

One is to help employers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, to adopt digital technologies, including HR technology.

It will also train managers in digital skills and build data analytics capabilities among HR professionals.

Companies embarking on the WTP can receive a 70 per cent subsidy from Workforce Singapore for up to 100 consulting hours. They will pay $3,210 (including GST) after subsidy.

SNEF president Robert Yap said SNEFDigital is aimed at helping employers embrace the digital future and "make IT work for enterprises".
