SINGAPORE – Singapore is encircled by the sea and laced with rivers. We easily forget this geography of blues and greens in a big city.

But when we think about it, Singapore has an abundance of waterfronts. HDB flats with views of scenic lakes, reservoirs and the sea were planned for heartland locales like Punggol, Jurong East and Marine Parade.
