As a child, I loved to read. One of my fondest childhood memories from the 2000s was going to the outlet of Borders, the now defunct American bookstore chain, that spanned the entire first floor of Wheelock Place.

I remember spending hours in my favourite corner of the bookshop, knees to my chest and my nose buried in Roald Dahl’s fables.
