Trump's travel ban victory may be Pyrrhic

US President Donald Trump's third version of an executive order banning the entry of people from certain countries into the US was upheld by the Supreme Court this week. Although he may see the ruling as a success, it may have a negative impact on US society.

US President Donald Trump has hailed the Supreme Court's decision to leave his Muslim travel ban in place as "a tremendous success, a tremendous victory for the American people and our Constitution".

Mr Trump said: "We have to be tough, and we have to be safe, and we have to be secure, at a minimum, we have to make sure... We just have to know who's coming here."
