In the closing moments of

the US presidential debate on June 27,

the men vying to become the next leader of the world’s most powerful country decided that voters needed to know which one of them was the better golfer.

When asked about their age, 78-year-old Donald Trump claimed recent non-senior club championship wins as evidence that he was the stronger candidate. Instead of dismissing the relevance of golf in governing the country, Mr Biden shot back that he had a 6 handicap.
