Rest is more than getting enough hours of sleep. It’s about replenishing our inner resources, especially those most depleted.

At a wellness retreat earlier in 2022, the facilitator told me I looked very tired. When I expressed surprise at her diagnosis, she said it was bad that I had become so used to being tired that it felt normal to me.

She helped me to figure out the cause of my tiredness, and suggested ways to rest.
