It was on a regular weekday in April when my parents and I found out that two of our long-time estate cleaners, S and H, were returning to their homeland of Bangladesh after their employment contracts ended. They told us they had chosen not to continue as they felt the terms of their new contract were not favourable. 

They had only a few days to say their goodbyes and leave the country.
