The full-length mirrors lining the underground linkway connecting Bayfront MRT station to Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands were frosted in January after “public feedback”.

It began, as these things often do in Singapore, with a complaint.
Someone was inconvenienced, someone else annoyed, and before long, an activity that brought joy to some was deemed a nuisance to many and quietly ushered offstage.
