At 9am on a cool winter Monday, the line to Patricia Coffee Brewers snaked. Tech executives casually replying to smartphone messages stood in the queue, along with work buddies with matching company lanyards chatting while awaiting their turn.
And there was me, out on a much-needed morning coffee run with my one-year-old daughter, who had refused to go back to sleep after waking at 5am.
