Speaking out on dangers to S'pore a core tenet of foreign diplomacy

It is an insult to former Singapore foreign service officers to be asked whether approval had been sought from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to speak on issues of current interest and importance.

I may not agree with what retired diplomat Bilahari Kausikan has said, but I will defend his right to say it.
