The recently concluded Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) brings to mind Alice's encounter with Humpty Dumpty in her journey through the Looking Glass.

"I don't know what you mean by 'glory'," she said, only for Humpty Dumpty to retort: "Of course you don't - till I tell you."
