The parents of the tens of thousands of full-time National Servicemen (NSF) will be watching closely how the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) handles the follow-ups into the death last week of Dave Lee Han Xuan from heatstroke during military training.

The 19-year-old enlisted for national service (NS) in January and died during military training barely four months later.
