If artificial intelligence is going to become an increasingly important part of our economy and society, talent development needs to start earlier.

In Astana, the futuristic capital of Kazakhstan, young minds from across the world were being put to the test. More than 450 students from 108 countries spent days experimenting, debugging models, testing ideas and working out why seemingly reasonable approaches failed.
This was the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI).
