Silence can be revitalising but it is elusive and it's hard to still the voice in our head.

I don’t know about you, but living in Singapore, I’ve always craved silence.
Not just a moment of quiet and auditory respite from the constant sounds of life in the city, but real silence. A complete break from noise, such that all I can hear are my own thoughts (and maybe my own heartbeat). A total lack of aural stimulation, such that my mind would be able to slow down and focus on just one thing. Or maybe nothing at all.
