A few rusted keys, pipes, coins, shreds of Straits Settlement currency notes. All that remains of a horrific chapter in Singapore's history.

These random artefacts were dug up from mass graves in today's Bedok South in the 1960s, more than 20 years after World War II ended. Today they sit, mute witnesses in a room to mark the 80th anniversary of the Fall of Singapore.
