After more than a decade-long absence from the UN General Assembly, an Indonesian head of government returned to this global stage with force.

In a much-acclaimed speech delivered on Sept 23, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto called

for the strengthening of UN multilateralism

as the way forward to solve many of the world’s ills.
