Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday used the traditional yearly military parade in Moscow's Red Square, marking the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II, to repeat his unsubstantiated claim that history has come full circle and that the invasion of Ukraine is designed to defeat another "fascist" regime.
