Lucky Plaza accident: Don't wait to show compassion to others

Two women, both Filipino domestic workers, were killed in a car accident at Lucky Plaza two Sundays ago. Even before a week had passed, an online website said that Orchard Road was being "degraded with maids picnicking on pavements".

Some other choice quotes on Facebook include, "if you really want to do some street dancing or sing in your native language, please go somewhere else where no one is looking" and "Singapore is overcrowded, so we will need to kick some out".
