Posts on 'miraculous' diet items to be removed; under-18s won't see those on cosmetic surgery

"This is huge news," said British actress and model Jameela Jamil, 33, after social media platform Instagram announced new rules for posts on weight-loss products and cosmetic procedures.

"As of now, if you're under 18, you will no longer be exposed to any diet/detox products, and, for all other ages, all fad products that have bogus, unrealistic claims will be taken down and (will be) easy to report," said Ms Jamil, a vocal and active critic of such content.
