Manhwa - the next big thing from South Korea?

Korean webtoons are drawing fans from as far away as the US, Britain and Australia

American movie theatre manager Emma Meislahn, 21, is hooked on Korean webtoons, or Internet-based comics.

She even dresses up as her favourite character - a vampire from the coming-of-age tale Bloody Sweet, who rescues a teenage girl bullied by her classmates and falls in love with her.
